How to install an eSIM
Installing a travel eSIM takes about a minute. You'll need a Wi-Fi connection and the QR code from your Simsiz account.
Install on iPhone
- 1Open Settings → Mobile Data (Cellular) → Add eSIM.
- 2Choose “Use QR Code” and scan the QR code from your Simsiz account.
- 3Label the new line (for example “Travel”) and keep your main line for calls and SMS.
- 4Select the eSIM as your Mobile Data line.
- 5When you arrive, turn on Data Roaming for the eSIM line.
Install on Android
- 1Open Settings → Connections (or Network & internet) → SIM manager.
- 2Tap “Add eSIM” and choose “Scan QR code”.
- 3Scan the QR code from your Simsiz account and confirm.
- 4Set the eSIM as your preferred SIM for mobile data.
- 5When you arrive, turn on Data Roaming for the eSIM.
Can't scan the QR code?
Choose “Enter details manually” and paste the SM-DP+ address and activation code shown on your eSIM page in your Simsiz account.
Tips
- Install the eSIM at home over Wi-Fi, before your trip.
- Don't delete the eSIM from your phone; it usually can't be reinstalled.
- If you have no connection on arrival, toggle Airplane mode on and off and check that Data Roaming is on.
